to report «iusnews»; As reported by the Communications, Information, and International Affairs Office of Imam Khomeini Airport City, on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 2, 2025, a flight operated by "Salam Air" on the Muscat–Tehran–Muscat route, after completing a normal landing at the airport, was unable to continue its journey due to the pilot's report of observing a crack in the cockpit windshield. The prolonged flight delay, lack of timely decision-making, and inadequate service provision by the airline led to protests from the passengers of this flight.

Following this incident, the Acting Head of Imam Khomeini Airport City personally visited the passengers of the flight, who included citizens of Oman, India, and Iran. He invited them to a hotel and personally oversaw the accommodation, hospitality, and management of the situation, providing suitable arrangements for the passengers until the issue was resolved or an alternative flight was arranged—an action that was met with satisfaction and gratitude from the passengers.
This morning, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Tehran, in an official message on behalf of the government and people of Oman, visited the airport city and met with Ramin Kashf-Azar, the Acting Head of Imam Khomeini Airport City. He praised the professional, respectful, and humane performance of the airport city in handling the passengers. He described this action as a clear reflection of cooperation, friendship, and trust between the two countries.
